I have been interested in integrating teaching and engineering into education at a much younger age in order to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of math and science.

This program is a very rewarding program, especially getting to see the students’ reactions to the activities, especially the younger kids, because their amazement and fascination is very contagious. Students get excited and energetic when we get to do an activity, and they don’t even realize the skills and knowledge that they are developing in math, science and engineering.
