ETFs serve as a resource agent for teachers in the creation and delivery of hands-on lessons and activities that integrate engineering problem solving with NC Standard Course of Study.
Benefits of becoming a MUSIC ETF
- Develop technical communication skills.
- Gain practical experience in the educational setting.
- Develop awareness of public school systems, teaching
methodologies, and educational understanding leading
to a life long commitment to K-8 education.
Requirements/Expectations/Responsibilities
- Must spend 10 hrs/week in partnership school creating
hands-on lessons and activities with partnership teacher.
- Additional 5 hr/week outside classroom preparing
for class.
- Expected to use Duke resources to enhance learning experiences of all children in classroom experiences.
